Since covid times more and more shoppers have been forced to work, shop, engage from home in everyday simple activities. This has given birth to many new forms of digital content that alleviate from the latest technologies and we are able to create close to photoreal spaces & environments virtually explorable. A specific rising prominent arena of virtual retail space is fashion as well. Numerous hi-end brands all over the world are adapting and taking advantage of virtualization of their clothing/fashion inventory and its possible to interactively explore their collections online. It is also possible to digitize real fabrics using state of the art current tools accurately in its true original and real world material form.
This is one such example of an ideal possible retail space that can be traversed and interacted with from your browser or through a VR headset. This experience/walk through was put together using Unitys state of the art Universal render pipeline that brings to fruition close to photoreal looking architectural & interior environments. Its still a heavily optimized space to be able to run smoothly over internet speeds.

Battle of Reptopia is an immersive augmented reality experience using the Magic Leap One device developed at Pixeldust Studios in 2019. This project was put together for Mandai park development and the Singapore Zoo. This pilot ‘Battle For Reptopia’ experience was specifically designed to appeal to two key personas at the Zoo: The Indulgent Parent and The Educator. This Magic Leap experience deploys critical components of the magic leap experience and API like spatial 3d environments, spatial 3d audio, controller touch and trigger and head tracking. For purposes of a public experience, only basic dependable and efficient features were deployed, that would be user friendly and easy to adopt quickly for even a novice user of the headset.
The experience is comprised of 5 stations/image-based triggers that will bring to life 5 unique immersive and interactive photoreal 3d habitat worlds in the middle of your room or table, that will showcase its species in action. The experience is narrated by a host character “Icon” in 3d that will guide the user inside the AR exhibit, sometimes in person, at times as background voice. Each station will introduce one or two of the reptiles/amphibians by including a brief initial non-interactive storyline that the users can watch and listen and learn various crucial info on the critters including their special skills and hunting mechanisms. Next the users will be allowed to interact with some of these qualities for a couple minutes using the Magic Leap controller and in the end they will get to play a fun immersive game for some stations. Below is a brief breakdown of each of the stations AR activities. Each station roughly takes about 3-7 minutes to complete.

An location based AR experience 2020-2021
Worked as Head of AR Development for this project. This experience which was part of the Explora app, was done with Pixeldust Studios for the Nuevo León government in Mexico. It comprised of a historical location-based experience, combining a physical design installation with AR technology to enrich the lives of people who visit Nuevo León.
The free mobile app includes more information about the various municipalities. By pointing your camera to the different labels in the roundabout, it triggers historical and economic data, comparisons, and photos of each Municipio. Entertainment content like trivia, mini-games, and a magazine with articles about gastronomy, museums, and other attractions enriches the overall experience and provides a longer shelf life to the app. It also includes an AR virtual 3D distance and direction calculator to measure the distance to any given Municipio. The AR experience combined with the standalone application lets visitors discover the rich history of the Nuevo León state.
Information about each Municipio was delivered when the visitors of the Battle for Survival interacted with trigger cards strategically distributed along the periphery of the roundabout. Visitors navigated with their iOS or Android mobile devices and would experience the different stages of the experience as they found the various trigger markers.
