Im a 2 time Emmy award winning creative CG professional, Architect, Meta experiences developer and CEO/founder of The Creative Lounge, currently working in the Washington DC area on projects ranging from 3d animation, vfx, virtual reality, augmented reality & game development. Projects mainly encompass television shows, museum exhibits and films for Emmy Award winning Pixeldust Studios, Discovery Channel, National Geographic Channel, Universal Studios, Discovery, PBS, Web MD and many more. I have been working in the cgi/animation industry since 1997 with various studios.
In addition to 6 Telly Awards and 7 Emmy Nominations, im obliged, honored to be a recipient of two Emmy wins. On Aug 08 2020, for animation direction the show "Ancient Oceans" and in 2016 for PBS show “National Mall: America’s Front Yard”.
The Creative Lounge infuses creativity, design and innovation into visual effects & mixed reality for numerous industries around the globe. Led by my personal decades of experience working in the animation industry, aiming to deliver high quality VFX animation and AR+VR content with top notch quality and enthusiasm.
As VFX Supervisor and Head of Development, I also lead the realtime GPU rendering pipeline using state of the art Game engines like Unreal Engine and Maya-Redshift for photoreal animations. I also head the development of augmented reality and gaming experiences using Unity, C#, Meta Quest SDK and Magic Leap One API and XR platforms. I have experience working with various mobile+web AR systems. Im also responsible for managing the 3D VFX team on a project-to-project basis for various studios. I have 25 yrs skill set in an array of 3D animation and compositing software such as Unreal, Houdini, Maya, Unity, Redshift, Foundry Nuke & After Effects.
Having completed my undergraduate degree in Architecture and Interior Design, love for animation and art gradually steered my career into this field. I graduated B-Arch in May 2000, completed my Master of Fine Arts in Animation (MFA-Anim) from prestigious Academy of Art University, San Francisco in April 2006.
